Calling All Bakers

Grove PTO has been asked to provide the morning snack for the Staff Development Day on September 7th. 
Snack will be at 10:30 in the morning.  If you would be willing to bake some muffins or other breakfast treat,
or maybe put together a fruit tray, please let me know by Friday, 9/3.  We also need cases of water donated for drinks.
Staff Development Day will be at the Grove Community Center.  All items can be dropped off that morning before 10:00am.

First PTO Meeting of the School Year

Please join us Tuesday, August 31st at 6:00pm at the Lower Elementary Cafeteria for our "Back to School" PTO meeting.  At this meeting you will have the opportunity to visit with our principals, and the volunteer coordinators from each building about the changes, improvements and projects going on at each site this year.  This is your opportunity to learn how you can get involved.

Reception for Carol Hunsperger, our finalist for Oklahoma Teacher of the Year

Please join our school community on August 30th at 1:15 at the Middle School Gym for a reception for our OK Teacher of the Year finalist, 3rd grade teacher Carol Hunsperger.  The reception is sponsored by Blue Bell Ice Cream.

New Location for Ridgy Recycling

Ridgy Recycling has moved.  The new and improved location is located is still on 10th Street, across the street from the new middle school addition.

Community Bus Stops

Grove Public Schools will have community bus stops for
students living within one and one-half mile of a school  site.
The community stops are as follows:
Bible Baptist Church - Ford Road
Garden Walk Apartments - Shundi and Cox Drive
Sports Complex Parking Lot - l lth Street
Cornerstone Church Parking Lot - 5th and Hazel
Grove Senior Citizen Back Parking Lot - lst Street
Church of the Shepherd Gravel Parking Lot - Rockwood and Harbor

Federal Programs Parent Meeting

SEPTEMBER 7TH, 5:30PM, MIDDLE SCHOOL LIBRARY
The purpose of the meeting is to provide information on the federal programs administered at GPS and the right of parents to be involved in the planning, review and improvement of these programs.
